Hi David. Blogging is a good feature for classroom use for communication. I do think, and recommend blogging as a classroom activity. We absolutely can meet either through CR 2.0 or Twitter. I am interested in the type of response you are receiving from teachers as you approach them about implementing blogging as a tool.
I consult with state department of ed folks, school officials, and instructors as to what types of technology curriculums are the best fit for the courses they offer. I currently work with a company called Certification Partners, LLC and they manage the CIW (Certified Internet Web Professional) program. So mostly I talk about the implementation of courses for intro to IT and Web design/e-commerce. We also have a convergence program that I will talk about some, depending on the fit. I present at conferences several times throughout the year, typically presenting on open source technology and instructional technology.
yeah! That is because I have it moderated, but on that, I know it is my choice... but the "We have to approve every new member of the network..." message in my profile is still a mistery!
Hi David!! Thanks for your comment! Yes, my blog post has been approved :-)
But I still wonder why I have this message in my profile (only visible to me): "We have to approve every new member of the network to protect from "spammers." We apologize for any delay this causes. To help in this process, please tell us why you are joining this network."
