With your interest in Instructional Technology and 21st Century Education, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.
Our Brainyflix video contest just ended, and I wanted to thank you for helping us get the word out. We got 800 submissions from across the country!
That said, MIT was really happy with the results and will let us run another contest, so we're going for it! But this time, we're gonna have kids create Brainypics flashcards - which are images and sentences paired up with a one of our SAT/ACT words. The contest ends May 22nd, and there'll be iTunes and a cash prize like last time. To boot, we'll double the payout if the kids can hit a certain goal. More details at brainyflix.com/main/contest_rules.
Do you mind passing my message along to students and your HS colleagues again?
We are anxious to engage a few great schools to build case studies of how a school could could easily build and manage its web presence WITHOUT ANY technical staff.
This is not hyperbole. Shouldn't we in 2009 be able to leverage the power of the web without help (or interference) from 'techs' but rather by the people with the knowledge and the consumers of that knowledge?
What I am proposing, is very simply; any school could and should abandon internal networks, dump all but hardware tech staff, and provide a better technology experience for students and educators - one that serves both groups as well as the community in long-term and sustainable ways.
I'd be pleased to speak with you in more detail about these crazy claims...anytime 801.274.0882
Happy New Year! I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a nationwide Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university.
You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Wasn't that supposed to be the promise of the web? That's what we've built.

I see you started a portal beta.manyone.net . I looked at the CCschools site and understand well the challenge.
That site is classic example of the problem the ManyOne UPS solves.
How can I help you? 801.274.0882. I'm off to Brazil on Thursday,
Call me?
