Hi Rob,
I read your posting on Walden's ConnectEd about Yokoten and whether or not your district has a sharing or hoarding culture. Currently I am trying to convince the tech personnel that we need to create easy integrated possibilities for sharing to occur. Right now they can access a server ,separate from their own, to place things in a common area. The teachers I work with are not tech saavy users. For the most part they don't mount their own server. HomeSync is utilized to back up their computers which many don't have the patience to even wait to finish. I am looking for insights you might be able to provide to help me leap the hoarding hurdle to open easy collaboration. Can you share more with me?
Thanks,
Laurie Korte

Hi Rob. I was wondering if your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. Perhaps you have some educator contacts you could direct me to. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Hey Rob,

I'm not too far from you, I'm in the Chaffey Joint Union High School District. I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's web based power point viewing platform.

Hey Rob -- I just joined up for your classroom 2.0 -- just for fun! Don't know what this is and don't know how to put my picture on.
Hope you are having fun! I am trying to squeeze every last drop of fun out of my remaining days of freedom. So much to do for work, but can't bear to do anything with school now. Your blog site looks very interesting -- what a deep thinker you are!

Welcome Rob and greetings from Germany!
My focus is on Web 2.0 apps as to education and I care about European schoolprojects as well.
Feel free to check my site.
I´ve created the biggest group on C2.0 called DigiSkills about digital teaching methods: 180 members now.
Would love if you decide to join as well!
