- I have grown up in Special Education on all sides. My dyslexia was identified just before PL 94-142 came into existence. I proceeded to graduate for high school and college. I became a Special Educator twenty nine years ago to help student like myself succeed in the academic world. I have also acted at the educational guardian for my Down's Syndrome brother-in law and sister-in-law.
