Currently teaching 5 sections of Nutrition & Wellness and 1 Lifeplanning course. Next semester I will again have 5 foods courses and 1 Fashion Design class(which is really a beginner sewing course). I am working in the high school that I attended as a student in the '70s-and my 2 oldest children are graduates(my youngest is a freshman at the rival high school in our community-she is a TRAITOR!! LOL!). I am now on holiday break until Jan. 5 so will be trying to learn more about blogging/wikis etc. But I also make Irish dance dresses and have a couple to finish so I might be able to sell them for extra money. Will be rather busy for the next 2 weeks.

Let's try to keep in touch and share ideas/websites etc. It is fun to chat with FACS comrades from other parts of the country.

I am a new member to Classroom 2.0 and have been looking to connect with other FACS teachers. If you are interested in sharing ideas and corresponding throughout the school year-please let me know. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio-have taught FACS at both the junior/senior high level for 20 years. Am just now learning how to navigate all the wonderful resources technology has to offer and am always looking for ideas and assistance.
