I recently got to experience a 2nd grade classroom for 3 days.  I learned many new things being in there-I must thank a certain 2nd grade teacher for going on a week long class trip!  Firstly,  I noticed that no matter what grade these students are in, there are some who are noticeably struggling & some who are far out reaching their expectations.  Some of the youngsters that I had the pleasure of working with could no doubt keep up in a 5th or 6th grade classroom.  Then, there were some…
