I teach in a secondary school Vocational Agriculture, Technology and Automotive technology. Also, I head up the technology department and help the technology coordinator throughout the district. I help mainly with concerns of software questions or problems. My main goal is to get teachers to use as much technology as possible.

I teach auto one through vocational auto 3. This summer I am in charge of writting the curriculm for our first year auto students. I not sure how much material I should throw at them durning their first year. Any suggestion?
Hi jaye. I am Mike Radeke and I also teach automotive technology. I am taking a course right now for my masters and the teacher recommended using this site for new ideas.
Our Brainyflix video contest just ended, and I wanted to thank you for helping us get the word out. We got 800 submissions from across the country!
That said, MIT was really happy with the results and will let us run another contest, so we're going for it! But this time, we're gonna have kids create Brainypics flashcards - which are images and sentences paired up with a one of our SAT/ACT words. The contest ends May 22nd, and there'll be iTunes and a cash prize like last time. To boot, we'll double the payout if the kids can hit a certain goal. More details at brainyflix.com/main/contest_rules.
Do you mind passing my message along to students and your colleagues again?
That'd be fantastic, Jaye. There are already some videos being submitted so you can see the diversity in the kinds of submissions we are receiving. You can email me at admin@brainyflix.com if you have any outstanding questions not answered by the website
Hi Jaye. I was wondering if you and your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. If not, perhaps you have some educator contacts you could direct me to. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
Hey Jaye, I'm from Kansas too. Well, I live in Kansas now. I moved here from Tyler, Texas about one year ago. I teach Collision Repair at Butler Communit College now.
I like to use technology, but it is hard for me to keep up with. It changes faster that I can keep up. There is so much out there. It's fun messing around with it.
There is a lot of information of this website. However, I have not dad much time to explore it yet.
