About Me
I'm a former school improvement consultant, 4th grade teacher, and high tech product manager. I'm currently working on a project to pull together 3rd grade LA resources that help teachers design effective and engaging lessons. Please point me to great ones you know of! Ultimately, I'm looking for ways to improve educational opportunities for all kids.

Hi, Jennifer. Welcome to Classroom 2.0. My name is Ken Greene and I am the general music teacher and choir director at Ridgeway Middle School in Memphis, Tennessee. I was wondering if you would be interested in participating in a classroom exchange using a web application called Voicethread. My students and I have been connecting with educators and students around the world through technology such as Classroom 2.0 and Voicethread in an effort to learn from each other, discover what we have in common, and strengthen appreciation and awareness of diverse world cultures. Voicethread is VERY easy to use and allows us to communicate with each other through text, voice, or video comments. Take a look at my page to get an idea of what we've been up to - . You can also have a look at this vociethread greeting my students posted earlier this month - . My school music web site is . Hope to hear from you! Best Regards. Ken Greene

Thanks for the blog compliment. It's definitely on the back burner for now. I have been working on a couple of wikis. One that may be helpful to you or schools you work with is I think you'll also find some great people and resources here at Classroom 2.0.

Hi Jennifer and welcome to classroom20. There are many, many wonderful activities using technology going on at the level that you described. Maybe you would like to add that as a discussion as people are more likely to see the discussion, than the latest activities where your introduction comes in.
