About Me: I have been working in an independent boarding school for most of my career. The focus of my work has been in the field of teaching and learning as related to meeting the strengths and needs of diverse learners. My work has involved ongoing professional development in order to deliver skills and strategies that prepare students for a successful transition into the 21st century. I continue to be involved in creating a curriculum that allows all teachers to better understand themselves as facilitators of learning and assisting children to better understand themselves as learners and active participants in their world. I am interested in building a school environment that is dynamic, collaborative and where information/learning is made accessible to all.
