I thought of your question re: Quizzes, and thought maybe some of the ideas in the right channel under tools/subjects/topics of interest might be a place to start. The software that comes with the "clickers" lets you make quizzes, too (sets for checkout at 4j), and you might try a free account with SurveyMonkey-- more for surveys/questionaires, but it offers multiple choice, open response, essay answers so it might do the job. I hope you two are having fun in SF! Debby Delp and I are attending the Classroom 2.0 meeting you will read about on the Main Page early in Feb.
