I am a wife, mother and passionate advocate for children. A special education teacher since 1999, I strongly believe that fundamental perceptions of where and how learning takes place must change in order to achieve true educational reform. A student of life, I currently hold two B.A. degrees in English and Black Studies, and an M.Ed. in Special Education. My goal is to share ideas, research, and practical applications of successful educational reform with concerned educators and community members alike.
