Hi Lee. I was wondering if your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. If not, perhaps you have some other educator contacts you could direct me to. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Hi Lee, thanks for the friend invitation and it's my pleasure to accept. I am interested in what you are doing with grad students and 21st C. learning - I am an adjunct prof. as well teaching emerging technologies - are distance learning adjuncts involved?

Jim, That is great. I like meeting someone from my hometown area who is working in this realm. Wonderful.

Kevin, I do have ideas for that goal.

Hey Lee, I see you rec'd a comment below from my friend, Jim. Actually, he's the prof in the Moodle course I'm taking with GlobalClassrooms.org. Just a great guy and ALWAYS quick to lend a hand!

So happy you're up for collaboration! I do indeed have a Skype addy: ksbluesbro will get you to me. I'll log your contact info in. Feel free to buzz me anytime you see me online. I'm a night owl as well, so don't hesitate to chime in if you're ever up late!

We can talk more about this via Skype, but one of my main goals is to find a way to bind several key subject areas together in an online 'realm' that will extend the theories my students learn in class into 'real world' type scenarios. For now - I'll just say that we will be covering the following areas:

  • Cyberspace and Web Technologies
  • Digital Communications
  • Transportation Systems
  • Agriscience/Biotechnology
  • Environmental Science
