About Me: The Boulder based non-profit that I work for is considering a plan to launch mobile broadband (WiMAX) to K-12 & Higher Ed. I am interested in understanding how students can benefit from secure, wireless access to coursework and the Internet.

It would be great if the child could log on and interact with their classmates and teacher; for this, I'm thinking webcam. The wireless aspect concerns me because of people who would ping the site and eventually get into the school district's website. Couldn't they then get a hold of secure data? Write back, please.
