Hi Lonnie,
With your interest in Technology for your high school students, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
Here’s a Public Class on Technology Integration you might be interested in.
Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a nationwide Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get more students involved from California!
You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
Hi Laurie and warm welcome from Australia. I have been using technology to teach students for a long time as well, but the use of web2.0 has brought even more exciting outcomes to my classrrom.
I teach Biology and AP Environmental at a public high school in the Central Valley of California. I have been using technology to teach students for almost twenty years now.
