About Me

Hello! My name is Marie Dennany Lara, and I am pursuing my Doctorates of Education in Educational Technology. I was born in California, but consider myself a ”transplanted” Texan as I now reside in Brownsville Texas. I received my Masters of Education degree at UTRGV in the fall of 2015 and was looking for a program to further my education. I have always enjoyed technology and learning, and I have always found ways to utilize technology in my vocations.
I have tutored, taught in the classroom and led inservices for educators, but spent most of my career life in various positions within the business field.
