I guess I forgot to post that it had to do with on-line classrooms also. I had a student at a Christian private school try to turn a book report that read just like the back cover of a book, I got the book from the library and showed it to her, I then had her write the report over.
Thank you. I'm actually taking a technology class and have to write a paper on plagiarism and academic honesty. I don't have a specific classroom in mind. That is what I did when I taught an 8th grade English class how to write a research paper, break it into each step, have it turned in before they went on to the next step. I appreciate your help.
Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you have any educator contacts who would be interested in participating in a nationwide Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get more students involved from NY, though I saw your blog and you probably have much greater reach than that.
You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
