About Me: I have been a high school educator since 1973 as a classroom art teacher, school counselor and high school principal. I have worked in traditional high schools, a vocational high school and an "alternative" program. My current interests are in the areas of changing schools to better prepare students for the 21st century and moving away from the factory model of seat time production of Carnagie Units as the only means of earning a high school diploma.
