About Me: I'm a teacher specializing in reading, and am building a tutoring business both online and off. I will be holding webinars for parents who want to learn how to help their struggling readers, as well as presenting the ideas I've invented and created over the years to deal with specific details in the reading process.

I left teaching for a while to have surgery, and during that time I taught two failing students a second grader and a sixth grader. Each required special lessons for each little bit of progress--and I'm pulling out all the stops and putting them on video!

I look forward to learning here, and perhaps to meeting like-minded souls as well.

I feel a strong sense of -- I guess I'd have to say it's "a mission," almost -- to help those children who fall between the cracks in school, and plan to offer extremely low-cost or free help.

Maybe my project will work, and maybe it won't! But--I'm going to try my darnedest!
