Time for authentic learning!

Hi everyone. I'm a social studies and geography teacher from New Zealand. Web 2.0 technologies have become a big part of what we are doing at my school. However, at this stage I feel it is just 'bells and whistles', I really want to use it to make a difference to learning, make it transformative. This seems like it could be a great place to share resources and ideas, and to discuss pedagogy specific to the social sciences.
