- I stopped working for corporate America more than 10 years ago and subsequently owned several businesses that employed people who enjoyed being independently self-sufficient and didn’t require any supervision. I considered employees equals so I labeled most of them as partners.
About 2 or 3 years ago I stopped working full-time, but I retained a few clients that I’ve been working with for more than five years.
I have labeled myself as semi retired because I still work a few days every month. I live alone and rarely venture outside the house. A couple days ago I decided to begin learning again and to connect with like minded people.
