I am a former Spanish teacher who has spent the better part of the last decade working in ed-tech resource development, instructional design, and teacher training. I'm particularly interested in the integration of technology and new media in the teaching of history and world languages. Currently I work as an academic technologist at an independent school in Connecticut.

Hi Sarah,
I'd like to talk to you about a forum for CT teachers to connect in order to find others to collaborate on projects that address CT standards as well as share resources, ideas, issues, etc. Does the CEN have anything like that already?
Rebecca
Hi Sarah. I was wondering if you have any high school contacts who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
Also, we'd like to tell you that we already have the website of our project finished and we’d like to share it with you.
The goal of Bablingua is to offer good audiovisual materials filmed in Hispanic countries that can help teachers to enrich their classes. In the website there are short videos, long videos, vocabulary cards and a blog with free activities, games and new ideas for the foreign language class.
Please, visit us at : www.bablingua.com, and let us know your opinion, comments and ideas you have to improve it.
Welcome to Classroom 2.0 ! I am a still a Spanish teacher too and you may interested to check out the links to resources I have on my blog, My Languages, for Spanish or any other languages. Go to my blog and click on the corresponding delicious tag on the right (the list of tags is very long, you might fancy something else like ICT or software to check out some of those web 2.0 tools! )
Welcome Sarah from Germany! I´ve got project partners from Spain: Tenerife and Madrid - because you are a former teacher in spanish language.
Personally I focus on web 2.0 apps. Feel free to check my sites.
Greetings
Hans
