Hey Violetta,
I will stay in touch.
if you are coming over in October or November,
let me know when and perhaps we can meet up!
That would be great.
Cheers,
Gavin
HI Violetta,
I have removed the TUCK group! I won't be in a position to administrate the TUCK group a this stage. I am off to United Arab Emirates on the 30th July. Its a fabulous opportunity to work there as an ICT Advisor. I also noticed that it was only you and I anyway!!! Barbara was reluctant to join, she's a bit internet-phobic for some reason. To make it work we would have to send invitations to all the NZ and Oz schools using Clickview, and then put the time into encouraging them to use it! Since I am going to this new position, I won't really be able to energise/champion this process, unfortunately. However, this doen't mean you or someone esle who is a member of Classroom 2.0 couldn't do it! Its very easy to create a group. It also doesn't mean that I won't use Clickview in the future! You never know I might get in touch with you from Abu Dhabi, we'll just see how things develop, if I did do it I would make sure that the harware and software infrastructure was well set up first! i.e. a deicated PC etc...all the best Gavin
That sounds great, I will get the contacts to you some time in the next few weeks.
I am home for 3 days then off to Tweed Heads for a Conference.
I think the potential is huge.
Thanks for your support.
Hi Violeta,
Sorry about that - wife had to work late,, kids etc etc It was great to meet you and get a glimpse of the potential of what we could do with ClickView. I am keen to start a New Zealand ClickView Teachers Group on Classroom 2.0, I might call it "Teachers Using ClickView with Kids", or TUCK. LOL.
Is it possible to get a list of email contacts for your NZ schools and I'll just paste a big invite to them all from here and see who comes on board. I will invite you and Mike to be members of the group as well. What do you think?
Cheers,
Gavin
I am in the same boat, I think the idea is going to be to sign up all the librarians/av etc using ClickView so that there is a forum for questions opinions etc.
Hi Violeta,
Its a bit confusing, but I think your are now my friend. Yay!
Thanks for all the coaching today, ClickView is very cool and I can see where it will be going - very exciting.
I'm sorry I didn't make it to see you at St Mary's, time ran out; hopefully we'll catch up tomorrow.
Cheers,
Gavin
