http://www.ustream.tv/channel/spacevidcast I had to share this one with everyone. I am so intrigued by this stream since it's the live events of a day in the life of a NASA astronaut. You have to stop for a second to watch and listen. It is truly amazing!!

Thank you so much, Cheryl. I am glad you like the site!

We don't speak at many conferences, though I am presenting this June in Worcester, MA at one about the role of Social Media in Education. We'd be happy to share with educators our efforts. Please let me know if there is a conference we should think about attending.

Hey Cheryl,

Our Brainyflix video contest just ended, and I wanted to thank you for helping us get the word out. We got 800 submissions from across the country. And from what I've heard, students had a good time and learned some tough vocab. Some kids even discovered a passion for hamming it up in front of the camera and started video clubs.

That said, MIT was really happy with the results and will let us run another contest, so we're going for it! But this time, we're gonna have kids create Brainypics flashcards - which are images and sentences paired up with a one of our SAT/ACT words. The contest ends May 22nd, and there'll be iTunes and a cash prize like last time. To boot, we'll double the payout if the kids can hit a certain goal. More details at brainyflix.com/main/contest_rules.

We'd love to have your kids involved. If it's not a good fit for them, maybe you have some colleagues you could pass our info to.

Thanks,
Jack

Hi Cheryl. I was wondering if you have students or educator friends who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Thanks for the house offer, we will head to our ski house that does have power! Maybe only a couple more days without.
I would be very interested in streaming in on Feb. 8, that is a Sunday? Let me put some time on my calendar!

Dear Cheryl,
I just love the bag!!!! I already had so many compliments. Okay, so, why am I writing to thank you so late!!! Well, let me tell you that on Monday your package brightened my day. We have been without power since Friday 1AM, through 13 degree weather, sleet, ice, then 62 degree weather, purchasing a generator, Merry Christmas, keeping our house at 65 degrees after coming home to find it at 47 degrees, keeping our freezer going to keep our harvest from summer. So, on Monday, when I opened the package, I did a happy dance. I am so thankful for making a connection with you and look forward to many conversations and continued connections. Thanks so much. I only have internet at school, when I am supposed to be working, so this is somewhat shortened. I hope you and yours have a Happy Holiday and know you made mine very happy too.

I really enjoyed the day and I was able to watch some of it on Saturday. Thanks for planning it. I came away with so many ideas. I have a list of things I want to try. I am going to line up teachers to work with to get started. Love your Wiki-I've been checking out all the links. Thanks again! Karen

Cheryl,
Looking at the upcoming conference--can you tell me what is the nearest airport? Is it Philadelphia? Looking into flight costs.
Thanks--
Connie
