Did you embed the Google Reader as a gadget (widget) within the iGoogle page? While it's hard to go past Pageflakes, having a customised version of Google is very handy, when you use Google. The Socializer (by web2announcer) gadget is useful too. Check out Mashable.com's comparison of 14 personal startpages. (It also includes yourminis which has potential).

About Me
I am interested in Web 2.0 tools in education, and work part time for educationau a national ICT in education company funded largely by Australian governments. We are currently building myedna - a personal learning (and collaboration) environment which will use a range of Web 2.0 tools. I also teach a little bit at Flinders University in ICT in education. I was a school principal for about 100 years.

Just set up my NetVibes page: very impressed with this tool. It is much more attractive that other aggregators I have seen.

Just subscribed to Gliffy for the princely sum of $20US and am very impressed with this online concept mapping application.

I have been looking for a low cost alternative to Inspiration and have experimented with a number of them, and found Cmap to be excellent, and free.

However Gliffy has a significant advantage in being an online application with very good tools is a very polished product. There is a collaborate function… Continue
