Where there is a will there is a way.... I recently participated in a Webnar about Smartphones in the classroom. They were able to stream via the school district filters to ensure security.

Coming from an admin's perspective I'd imagine the idea of opening up the school and the classroom to social media, student owned technology, etc must be mortifying to school district computer/network administrators whose job it is to make sure the network is secure. But you're right, it's inevitable. My girlfriends's kids aren't allowed to have cell phones, mp3 players or portable gaming systems, but they take them to school nonetheless.

nice use of Animoto, I have used that program before to create the free 30 second shorts but never for something of the length that you did.

Regarding the video itself I thought a very insightful piece with some good points. I am sensitive to this type of information since I just re-wrote my philosophy of education addressing the same type of issues.
