The Artemis Transat 2008
One man, one boat, the ocean...This video recaps the highlights of this amazing race from Plymouth to Boston. My students were captivated by the adventure and intrigued by the lessons in geography, meteorology, navigation, history, perserverance and teamwork. Students enjoyed using the the 2D and 3D race viewer and watching the video footage. We are preparing for the November 2008 Vendee Globe when these skippers will sail around the world alone.
