Thanks for the comment. I think we need to go even beyond the static environment of a class website, though. Students posting videos of the labwork, creating online glossaries and documents, and creating and commenting on VoiceThreads are easy examples. Students can then access the curriculum and each other without having to be at school.

I liked your video. I'd never really thought about classroom education as "Open 24 Hours." That's a great metaphor. I used to think of websites as places parents and students would never visit but that teachers made to keep administrators happy or to meet technology requirements. The idea of a class website keeping the class open 24 hours sets forth a challenge to make a really good class website, one that is so good that people would actually want to visit it and continue their education beyond 3 o'clock. Thanks for the food for thought.
