Tracey, thanks for the opportunity to view how you use wikis. Do your students add material to the wikis you have created for them? Or do you control what is added? And with the staff, do they contribute to the wiki you created for them? In my school, we have gone mad with wiki use, although most seem to be used like blogs. I try to encourage my students to contribute, particularly to topics and issues under discussion in the classroom. My greatest concern at present is the tendency of most of my students to post comments or add to the wiki in text that resembles SMS statements. They seem to be more comfortable with "twitter-type" commentary - short and sweet statements. My students are 15-17 year olds. What has been your experience in relation to students' contributions to wikis?
