Reading programs

What online reading programs are you using? Does anyone specifically use Accelerated Reader?

Hi! My name is Gwen Bodner and I am a junior at Susquehanna University majoring in English with certification in Secondary Education. I noticed your post and, while I am not a teacher using Accelerated Reader, I used the program throughout my time in elementary-, middle-, and high school. It is a really wonderful program that is effective in motivating students to read more often while simultaneously being a useful tool that teachers can use to monitor/assess students' reading abilities. I would be very happy to answer any other questions you have about the program!

I haven't used accelerated reader, but my district uses RAZ kids and Reading A to Z; both are worthwhile, on-line programs with leveled readers and lots of options for teachers, students, and parents alike.
