What is the meaning of the book cover? I think I tried to go to your website and it didn't work.

I am creating a blog for students on the book "Locomotion." I do not currently have a picture of myself and so I used the book cover for the students. I wanted to try the site after listening to Will Richardson.

I haven't read this book, but a blog is a great way to engage kids in a dialogue. Here's a parent-child book club blog I like. It's a little old, but it has great examples of book conversation, including with the author. It's funny that they found that a blog could prompt conversation between a parent and kid who live in the same house!

Thank you for the parent-child book club site. The major problem I seem to be having is accessing the site. We have partial rights granted by the state. The students seem to be motivated but not totally. I will try something new.
