The assignment was to interview someone who had attended or taught in a one room school house. I was wondering if there was anyone on here who could help me.
Personally I do not see what this assignment will teach me about education. I think dwelling on the past is kind of silly, but this is the assignment and I need to get it done to pass. Any help?
Hi Joe,
Well, I kind of hate to admit it but I attended a one room school all eight years of elementary. I then raised most of my family, finished by degree, and taught for seventeen years. I am now an educational consultant. If I can help you in any way, let me know.
As soon as I finish writing the questions I will post them onto the discussion boards of a wiki I just created. If you would not mind, it would be very helpful if you would post some responses to them. I will send you the link as soon as the questions are posted.
My aunt taught in a one room school house and my dad attended the same until he went to high school. If you post your list of interview questions, I'd be happy to talk to them and send you their reply. (Neither knows how to use a computer so they won't be able to answer you directly.)
I am still forming the questions I need to ask. The instructor of the course did not give us any direction with this project. I have had several people respond to this already and I think the easiest way to conglomerate all the information would be to create a wiki. Do you think that would work? I will send you the link as soon as the questions are posted.
