Welcome, Lisa! I love the term "geeked up" - that's certainly what Classroom 2.0 has done for me. If you're looking to get REALLY geeky, start using twitter, it'll put you over the geek edge :-)
Hi Lisa,
I teach at a 7-12 private school in Beaverton, OR and LOVE to meet other tech-loving Oregonians. What kind of work do you do? Are you in Grad school?
Welcome Savitri. You came to the right place to see what eucators are doing with Web 2.0. I started here last summer and have learned and shared SO much. Enjoy!
Welcome, Savitri! This is an excellent place to get a feel for what new tools everyone is using and to ask questions. Looking forward to hearing from you and learning more about what you do.
My name is Tom Whyte, and I currently teach Middle School LAP students in Alberta. I have been away from technology for awhile, however currently trying to develop entire unit using nothing but google and google related products for my Social Studies class.
I looked at Google Sites the other night, but don't have Google Apps going and so coldn't drill down as much as I wanted to. I liked the video intro, but wanted to play around myself...
Welcome Tom! What a neat goal, I hope you'll keep us posted on your progress. I'm a huge fan of a lot of google products and hope to use more of them in my classroom in the future. I'll be watching you to see what you do!
