I am in a graduate program where I am doing a group project that involves math! We are trying to get students excited about math. We are going to put together a website with interesting, creative ways to do math. For example, we sing songs to remember formulas, the quadratic formula song, that we want to put on the website. We want to put creative projects or interactive lessons that will engage and help students at the same time. We would like anyone who does something creative, whether its a jeopardy powerpoint or a song, to help us with ideas. If you can send us videos, pictures, links, or as simple as word documents it would be greatly appreciated. When it is all said and done we will be sure to share!! We aren't so interestd in the topics but the creative way to teach something.

I have a story that I got at a conference a few years ago that I use to go along with the quadratic formula, it's corny but they students have enjoyed it.

This is cute! Thank you, exactly the type of thing we are looking for. I actually use a song to remember the quadratic formula and it really helps them out! You sing the quadratic formula to the tune of pop goes the weasel and it really helps them remember and its fun at the same time.
