I would love to incorporate the use of books to supplement my curriculum. However, our library is a little lacking. Does anyone know of great online resources that has books online or downloadable in pdf format?

Thanks for any help!

Most well known and built up I know of is http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Main_Page.
This is a great site. I wish it was a little more user friendly though. But I will take it.

Thanks!
Another great resource is the free iPhone reader Stanza:

PDF Search is quite good. It only searches by keyword, though, so it's a little tough to find what you want sometimes.
Really great resource. You are right in that it may take a while to find exactly what you are looking for if you don't have a great idea in the first place. Did find A Tale of Two Cities right away though.
I don't know what grade you teach, but here is another site for books.
