Hi there,
I teach BTEC National Diploma units, in Computer Animation, Digital Graphics, IT Technical Support, Information Systems and Advanced Spreadsheets. I use Facebook, podcasts, Huddle, Google Notebooks etc with my students and I'm investigating Twitter at the moment too. I love using the latest technology and encourage my students to explore with a positive attitude the new technologies available,
After teaching primary students for over 20 years I have decided to pursue more post graduate studies in education.
I am currently enrolled at UTS (University of Technology Sydney) and undertaking a Masters of Arts in E-learning degree.
Our Autumn semester has just commenced and I will keep you all up to date with many interesting e-learning developments that are presented in our lectures and workshops. I hope to also gain a wealth of knowledge from this wonderful e-learning community I have just joined up with.

I'm a high school history teacher at the Ethical Culture Fieldston School, a progressive independent school in NYC. I've written ten books, most recently the newly published Essaying the Past: How to Read, Write and Think about History (Wiley-Blackwell). My blog, "American History Now,"explores the role of U.S. history in everyday life. One running feature is "The Felix Chronicles," lightly fictionalized vignettes of classroom life. Be glad to know if anyone else is working in a similar vein. Thanks.
Hi I'm looking to create a personal learning network. I recently graduated from the Johns Hopkins Graduate Program in School Administration and Supervision in partnership with ISTE. It was a great program!
