Hello everyone! East Moline, Illinois here!
Hello

My name is Baira. I teach English and German at the Kalmyk State University in Elista, the capital of Repubic of Kalmykia, part of the Russian Federation.
Glad to join you!

Best regards,
Hi, I'm Diana Maxwell a special education reading teacher from Chesterfield, Virginia. I'm looking to collaborate with others and learn all I can about new ways to help my students.
Hi, my name is Carolyn and I'm in Prescott, AZ. I have been looking for a way to have discussion boards with my students in my HS English classes for some time now. It seems that this might just be the way to start my interactive classroom. Are there examples of other teacher's sites that I can see in full swing? I'm interested in having students participate in book discussions and maintain group projects on 2.0.
Hi Carolyn,

I live at Jacksonville Beach, FL and teach English Honors II Stanton College Preparatory School. I have been using web 2.0 tools in my class this year and my students really enjoy writing on our blog & using our wiki to add graphics to vocabulary study. I am interested in collaborating with another school or class.

I have done online book discussions using Moodle. Let me know if you would like to see one in action.
Try www.edmodo.com
It was made for teachers, so you don't have to worry about unwanted posts or creeps trying to contact your students. We are just getting started, but I am impressed so far!
My name is Lindsey Anderson and I teach Middle and High School language arts in Tama, Iowa. I work with all Native American students and am interested in developing their 21st century learning skills. I don't have very many tech savvy colleagues at school, so I am looking to connect with others who enjoy infusing technology into their teaching.
Hope to hear from you!
Hello, I just found Classroom 2.0 because of an assignment. For my masters class at University of New England we had to use technology to present our knowledge of differentiated instruction to our colleagues. I made a blog on the topic.

While working on my blog, I discovered that teachers are all over the web sharing with each other. This is especially thrilling to me because I live and work in Cairo, Egypt. Currently, I teach special education at American International School. Sometimes I feel very isolated from other teachers so far from home. I am originally from Vinton, Ohio and teach at Eastern High School in Reedsville when I am in the states.
Hello! Great site! Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm not a teacher, but work in educational research and am interested in examining how ed tech influences future academic growth and cognitive development. Great to be here!
Hi,
My name is Aron Sterling and I work in Fairfax, Virginia. We are exploring using iPod Touches inside the classroom. Right now we have gotten the iPods to test out, but have not started in the classroom. We have done a lot of research on apps and rules for 1-1 projects and research on the impact of mobile devices and 1-1 implementation projects.
One of the things I have tried to stick to is free apps. This has become a major headache as some of the apps I liked have added advertisements.
I guess I am looking for ideas on how the advertisements have come into people's thinking. How are you handling this or are you?
Thanks in advance.
Aron
