I just spent two days with Pamela DePinto learning the latest information on brain development. It certainly makes me wonder how I ever survived the "old-fashioned" education of lectures from the teacher, memorization and testing. How much has the school system changed now that we know more about how learning occurs?
I've begun gathering information on this topic for a presentation I'd like to make. I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with Pamela DePinto. Would you be able to point me to her work or share some of her key ideas with me?
Pamela DePinto is an adjunct faculty with Aurora University and has been an administrator with Lake Forest School District. You may know Lake Forest, Illinois as the home of the Chicago Bears. I can forward your interest to her if you like. I'm not sure if she would want me to give out her email address.
