I'm looking for ideas about good publishing companies to use for my students' class projects

We have been working on a language arts project heritage throughout the semester which includes many illustrative, narrative, and other autobiographical pieces. We've stored our papers on Google Docs and Pbwiki, and we need a publishing tool that will allow the students to take home a finalized book. I've been thinking of using lulu.com to allow the students to create their own books.

Do any of you have any better suggestions or can you think of any pitfalls I may run into with this creation process?

Have you seen Tikatok? The book is online but can be purchased in either hardback or paperback. If you cannot afford the books you could have a fund raiser--I think the paperbacks are about $9.00 a piece. They will actually scan your stuff in if you don't want to! Here's one of our kid's book, based on Diary of a Worm.
Thanks for adding these options. I'll be sure to update how the final project has gone.
