I'm a new user of the web 2.0 tools and would welcome ideas from others for ways to implement wikis, blogs, and other ideas for a middle school math classroom.
One thing that you definitely need to do is check out sites like http://classblogmeister.com/ (or join) and find groups of teachers with the same ideas as yourself. These friends of mine from a Middle School on the Isle of Wight UK may also be worth a visit http://www.nodehillmaths.typepad.com/ good luck :)
I would like to blog but our school board wants reasons why we should blog. They think that it would put our students at risk. Any ideas for me. I have given them about 30 reasons why we should blog but they think most of these can be accomplished through "regular" means.
