What are the differences in Smartboards and Promethean Boards?

This past year I began using Promethean Boards at school. I teach ESL inclusion in grades K-2. Many times I found myself taking a pre-made promethean flip chart and adjusting it to meet my needs. I absolutely LOVE making my own flip charts.

My kids also like the interactive feature of the Promethean. They stay engaged in the lesson on the Board. Some are actually disappointed when we have a lesson without the Promethean.
