Do You use iPod iTouches in your ELEMENTARY classroom?

Tell me how you funded it and how you use it. Any apps it doesn't have that you wish it did? Does anybody use it with students reading ebooks? If so, which ones work for you? How do you govern/determine reading level of apps? Any trouble with principals not wanting K and first graders to handle product? Thanks

Three great apps by Tacticality Software, a company producing apps specifically for K-12 educational environment: CountBy and TimesBy, interactive touch math apps and SentenceSpin, interactive touch language arts app.

Katherine,
I went ahead and posted the utube videos here on Classroom 2.0 for you to take a look at. It occurred to me after responding to your question that giving you the link might be helpful but it could be more helpful to actually make them available here under videos. The two math apps are .99, the language arts is 1.99. We are also using ebooks at our middle school and many other paid and free apps I'm happy to share.

I would like to know how to set up ebooks in my 1st grade classroom. I saw a school on the internet that creates them in their classrooms. What tech. hardware and software do I need and what are the basic instructions of how to create them?
