Hello Third Grade Classrooms!

Hello!

I am a third grade classroom teacher in metro Atlanta and we would love to have a class from outside our area with whom to be "Connected Pals." We are 16 children, and this year I have just incorporated a few learning 2.0 tools...mainly with a pretty active classroom blog. (I am hoping to encourage my other 3rd grade colleagues to connect, too!) Please let me know if you think you might be interested.

Hi. I have a third grade class who would love to tweet with you in the fall. We are in Salem, MA -- a small private school just beginning to explore web 2.0 tools with kids. We tweeted this year with a school in Wisconsin and the kids loved it. I would love to tweet with you! (Although we have not done that, yet!) And I love Salem, MA. (I am originally from NY, and Rockport was one of my husband's and my favorite places!) We go back to school mid-August, here is my class blog..http://blog.woodward.edu/wn_adolph/ . And here is our school web site... www.woodward.edu. (Our campus is Woodward North...about 15 miles northeast of Atlanta.) We have a number of teachers taking a web 2.0 class this summer, so I will be sure to advertise your request. I have loved implementing some of the strategies...but feel we have just begun to scratch the surface!

I hope you found your summer restful and the lobster plentiful! I am following up to your email about a Tweet request...(would that be a tweetquest?!) I am thinking you all have just begun your school year, but, alas, here in Georgia, we are already finishing our 4th week!
