Hi, I'm getting to know classroom 2.0 today. I'm in Higher Ed in teacher education at Trinity International University. I'm looking to network with others in teacher education.

Hi, I'm Jil. I am an instructional designer for the school of nursing at the University of Southern MS. I have all sorts of interests, from teaching instructors about tools they can integrate into their courses, to augmented reality, simulations, and iphone app development. I'm also interested in assistive technology development. I worked for a facility for the intellectually/developmentally disabled for nearly 7 years before coming into higher ed. On twitter I am ITJil and my blog is at http://itjil.blogspot.com. It's good to be here, I love learning and teaching.
I am a fourth grade teacher in Connecticut. I am one of the few lucky teachers to get an interactive wipeboard in my room and am also one of the few who helped design our new district website. I am extremely interested in using technology to take my lessons to the next level. I am currently looking into creating a tech club for grades 3-5 and have just written a grant for IPOD touch for my classroom.
If any one out there has any great ideas relating to technology at my level I would love to hear from you.
Hey there! I am Melissa Wilson, technology instructor for the A. Linwood Holton Governor's School. I am teaching a new class this semester, Advanced Multimedia Applications and am willing to share what I know and hope to learn something from all of you!
Hi. My name is Amy Butler. I'm a math teacher in Erie, PA, and have lived here all my life. I currently teach geometry and problem solving strategies at Northwest PA Collegiate Academy, which is also where I went to high school.
Hi! My name is Candace Musawwir. I teach 7th grade special education in NJ. I am currently enrolled in Wilkes University's Instructional Media program and this is my first time using Ning. I hope by using this social networking site, I will gain better insight and ideas as to how to incorporate technology in the classroom and apply it with my own students.
'm Sherry Lynn McGregor, a chemistry teacher from Nelson, BC, Canada. I stumbled across the site on a Professional Development Day. I have a Smart Board in my room this year and was looking for ways to make lessons interactive. Thanks in advance for all the information I am about to receive!
