It appears that I've been "gifted" a new Interwrite Mobi tablet by a colleague, but it looks like it will come without the clicker system that I've seen mentioned in other locations. Does anyone have any experience with using a Mobi tablet without the clickers? I didn't find many references to a Mobi tablet when I searched Classroom 2.0, just a recommendation to get one, not any references to how teachers are using them.

Thanks!

Last may I got to "test drive" one that was offered to my school...but not the clicker system mentioned in the orientation by a company rep. The latter seemed more useful to me.

In my discipline, English, I am looking for means of manipulating text on the white board; the Mobi tablet was not so adept at that, though it was useful in that it allowed me, when projecting something from the computer to the class, to be away from my desktop, which is situated in a back corner of the room. I liked the mobility.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I don't have a clicker system either. Just the tablet. I hope to be able to move around the classroom and control the computer from anywhere as well.
