I'm looking for examples of innovative technologies used for Science education, or models of schools that are doing outstanding, interactive science learning using new technologies. It relates to the development of new learning spaces and the ICT requirements for new age science inquiry for middle school students.
Is there anyone who is doing great stuff in their school, or who knows about schools that are working outside the box in science? Love to hear about what you are doing...
cheers
Cecilie

Curious about this topic too, though I am not a teacher.
Can you describe roughly what does the science curriculum for middle school includes?
In Australia there are really 3 elements - science understanding, science inquiry skills, science as a human endeavour.
I'm interested in models where schools are using innovative ICT to deliver or enrich science, or where students are working alongside scientists in gathering real data or using real world data in their learning...that sort of thing.
Gavin, many thanks - Leanz was one of the first I went to - it's a wonderful site I've known of since it started, with great virtual excursions and engaging interaction for science kids.
BTW love the profile picture behind the helm:)
