Education Iphone App ideas

Hello everyone!
I'm in the final semester of my MBA program and I'm trying to come up with an idea for an individual business plan. I work in the education industry, and I've been considering the idea of an education iPhone app. I know there are already many reference apps available, but I am trying to think of something that would be useful for teachers on a daily basis. I would love to hear your ideas.

Hi Kari,
This would be primarily be for K-6 grades. I've yet to find a spelling word app that allows word lists to be input by a teacher or parent and has various games that would stimulate the desire to learn and enhance memorization of the words. For example a word jumble, multiple choice of different spellings of the word, etc. I am currently working on creating the app but progress is slow. I thought I'd share it with you because my app won' t be done for several months.

Do you mean an education app for teachers to use, (e.g. admin based), or an app for teachers to use with students?

Either one, really, although I think an app for teachers to use with students probably would not go over well, as it can be hard to apply to the whole classroom. I was thinking more along the lines of something teachers could use for professional development, lesson planning, or information gathering.

For students to study weekly spelling words. Essentially teachers would create a spelling list in the app, add to an iTunes playlist and push out to the devices. We have classrooms using iPod Touch carts for mass deployment so this would be what I'm shooting for in my particular development.
