Hello All,
I'm a foreign language teacher and have recently begun experimenting with online interactive community resources in my curricula. So far, I've had some great successes pairing students up with Skype partners (native speakers of the target language) and asking students to follow and interact with blogs in the target language, but I'm still a bit uncertain about finding new activities and crafting a direction for the program...
Anyone have any experience with 2.0 language instruction? I'm specifically looking for something that would provide my students with more freedom than the standard online language partner arrangement, perhaps allowing them to interact with multiple types of media and users.
Any suggestions for activities? How did you deal with concerns about security? Can anyone point me to good case studies of these methods improving language skills?
Thanks so much in advance for the help,
JP
