I've used Quia.com to reduce my grading load and would like to use Glogster next year -- it looks like an indispensable tool for teachers today!
If you have not used GlogsterEDU, you need to try it! It's a great way for students to have lots of creativity and options to report or present what they know about a topic. It has plenty of capabilities to incorporate type, graphics, photos, video and audio. I used it this year and my kids LOVED it. More importantly, the work I got from them was OUTSTANDING! Check it out!
I also used Quia this year! LOVE it - it's worth the $50 out of my classroom budget to be able to get instant feedback and tons of USEABLE data for my kids. The kids love it too as they not only take their tests on the site, but can use it to play review games I create. It's been received very well by my students.
My favorite right now is Aviary. Image editing, vector drawing, audio editor (similar to Garage Band) and a new music creator. Too much fun!
