It is time to start planning for NECC 2007 in Texas. We should have a great classroom 2.0 presence this year. I am tuning up my presentation applications.

You mean NECC 2008? Perhaps Steve can organize some presos based on this ning; maybe a couple of different panels or something. Steve?
That's a fun idea. I wonder what we could do. I'm liking the panel idea!
Sharon,
Last year there was a bloggers cafe that turned out to be a wonderful meeting spot. I have no idea how this was organized but it sure would be nice to have a classroom2.0 cafe too!
Now, that is a GREAT idea. I wonder if they would go for it? I think they would. I'll send it by my contact there.
I got a very positive response from ISTE on this one. I think we'll see some fun innovation in this area. Will keep you posted on what I find out.
Thanks Steve,
Having an informal learning space to participate in was one of the highlights of last year's conference. My friends and I used it as a place to meet and learn from others. It was the first place I saw twitter being used and the place where I learned the in's and out's of a shared google document. Very excited about the possiblity of a Classroom2.0 space!

Panels are fun! Let's submit something ;-)
How about "Developing Your Own Personal Learning Network?" We could talk about how we are in charge of our own professional development and the various tools involved. Heck, this could even be a workshop!
There you go! I think it could be a workshop, and a very informative one at that.
Okay, so are you going to teach it with me? :) I need a partner in crime!
How about "Take Charge of your own Professional Development?" By the way, there are "Model Lesson" session formats and "BYO Laptop" sessions too.
Count me in. :)
