Hi Dear teachers and students,

Our school is located in Ghana, the most peaceful, beautiful, and
democratic country in Africa.

I am a teacher with the name  King Attrams. I teach English, History and
cultural studies in St Joseph's School. The school is established to
provide quality education for the less privileged in our community. We
also encourage girl child education and help the needy.

The school has a population of about 300 students of both sexes.

My students are interested in learning about other cultures, countries
and ways of life so I thought if your classes may be interested. This will
help to promote peace and understanding among people. My children can
tell your class about life in Africa, war, food, ways of life, school
and dressing, poverty among others. We can also organize video programs
to see our beautiful sceneries, waterfalls, monkeys, mountains, lions,
elephants and crocodiles. They would love it. The peace and beauty of
Ghana.

Please if your are interested reply back immediately.
THANK YOU

( plse, sorry but our school is a poor one and has no computers or
internet access for the children use, we will there be glad if your
students would like to write to us by post-pen palling. i think this
will be great experience for both our students). we willbe very greatful if a school outthere can help us also with some computers and other educational resources. thank you

Hi King,

I've shared your information with 2 teachers in my school who might be interested in being pen pals with your students. Our school is called Immaculate Conception & Our Lady of Perpetual Help School. We are a Catholic school. We teach ages 3-14 and have almost 300 students.

My husband's brother just returned from 2 1/2 years in Ghana teaching math for the Peace Corps. He really liked his time there and I enjoy hearing his stories :-)

I'll let you know what I hear from the teachers I've emailed soon.

:-) Renee
Please let your students know that I've passed along your mailing address to our 2 classes that will be writing to you. Our students start the school year tomorrow and I know they'll be excited to find out about this wonderful activity. :-)
I have a group of 4th grade gifted students and a group of 5th grade gifted students that would love to be your pen pals. Let me know how you would like to handle the writing and when to send off the letters. My email is amaurer@bettendorf.k12.ia.us
Greetings from California, USA. My students study West African history and would benefit greatly from a pen-pal in Ghana. Please consider us. My students are seventh graders (11 and 12 years old). Our school is called Toro Canyon Middle School. It is a very rural and poor community, but rich in Mexican-American culture and enthusiasm. Hope to hear from you, -Ricardo
